Another Wednesday evening where we battle against campers and some hopefully some 'proper' players too.

If anyone has any ideas about how to improve the game, there is Killzone Voice where you can sign up and put forward suggestions.

Controversial though my views may be , I dont think the games have been that bad, the biggest problem is that we have been massively outclassed by the opposition we have faced, there has been spawn camping but not to a degree I would claim its broken the game. It has mostly been better teams that have beaten us. I would say that shadowfall is not like the previous two online games, it has a different style, it is more unforgiving, faster and the map design is not kind or clever allowing more spawn camping than the old maps and you have to accomodate those differences or else not play. It has taken time to adjust to the new killzone and I am a long way from being good at it, you cant come in and be brilliant at it because you have played the previous ones. Its a tough game but playable once you have put in the time.

I'd have to say that I have noticed more spawn camping on this game than the previous iteration. Yes, maybe the opposition are better (well, clearly they are) but this then tends to follow with at least some of them spawn camping us as we appear from our base. The teleport ability does allow you to circumvent that to some extent but it leaves you as a lone gun somewhere else on the map, when really you need a small group working together particularly against a strong opposition.

I'm don't know why but in the last few sessions I have found that I die very easily, yet when shooting the opposition they don't seem to kark it so readily. I don't know if something has changed in a patch but when I started playing this I was doing a lot better than I am now. I think I had a k/d around 0.8ish but that's plummeted to 0.5.

I will persist with the game for the time being but for me it doesn't feel like a Killzone game, it feels more like some generic sci-fi shooter. I'm hoping that it will pick up as I play more but I must confess that I am much preferring BF4 at the moment.

It is definitely a different creature, having gone from KZ3 to KZS this week really highlighted that to me.

However I have slowly been getting to grips with it, I don't think this game overly suits the casual drop in/out person, and I've had to adjust for that. Given that's my normal mode of playing games. I tend to find I have to play about three rounds before I start to get into my stride.

What we could do one week (providing we drum up enough numbers), is do a private match. I've not tried this yet, and at least we can all be crap together .

I'm probably in the minority by saying I prefer this game to the other Killzones. I do prefer BF4 but this game makes a nice change to being killed by vehicles and I love the different gadgets and ranking system.

I have found this game has a love it or hate it feel amongst players and have a feeling this will be the last game in the franchise.

I hope not, think they are missing a trick where you can play the single player campaign from the aspect of the Helghan. Lightly touched on it in KZ1 where you got to play as Hakka, but not strictly where I was going with this.

Well I have played online Twice and been slaughtered both times, out classed by the opposition is obvious to me but this game seems to have griped the CoD type of fast paced no teamwork play style. The last and only game i played this Wednesday was utterly dreadful a constant spawn camp from start to finish, me not knowing the map didn't help. In my view people have bought the PS4 with maybe 2 games and are currently waiting for more suited to them, this means the majority will only be playing either BF4, CoD or KZ and most people new to a PlayStation probably saw the Trailers like us and instantly fell in love with KZ. I will continue to join you guys post 9pm and until the events stop flowing will always continue to join.

I loved all the previous KZ and think this one has disappointed me not because of the game but because of myself expecting KZ3 with better GFX and not a totally now style of game that Guerilla was obviously going for. I think if we all play it enough we should/will get better and really enjoy the game again.

So the ISA and the Helgan had a war and no-one showed.
