Tonight we'll be playing a rotation based on the Close Quarters/Aftermath DLC. This will include some Conquest Domination, TDMCQ, Gun Master and Scavenger modes on these maps. There may be some standard maps thrown in the mix too.

Due to CQ maps being used, there will be a 16 player limit.

I'm in, not played any of that fast paced stuff for a while so it'll be a nice change.

Have you changed the Thurs to a Weds? I should be back home after picking up my "new" car by then so I may well gate crash again.

With Killzone dead on it's arse and Battlefield being somewhat underplayed by some of us we decided to double up the BF nights once more although I can see folks playing it more often than that as well; Col & DreweP whilst I'm playing other games.

Has Killzone been given the chop then? Does nobody here still play it.

Both myself and Martok are taking a break from it. Turning up week in week out with hardly any other Seniors showing has left us somewhat despondent about it. Combine that with the spawn camping and unmoderated glitching that is plaguing the title I hope you can understand why we're taking a break.

    Thanks for the reply HaloJ.
I have neve played it as part of a squad/clan. The only game I play is Bodycount with my nephew when he's down. We just play turn about, when he gets killed he passes me the controller and I do likewise, 'tis good craic.

Bloody great night! Ok, the TDMCQ map on one of the new Aftermath maps was a little on the large side but the rest of the evening rocked. Gunmaster played well and myself, JK and Col were doing good at keeping up on my penultimate round but I was then stabbed twice by Plaxi both times taking me back to that god awful auto shotty that I detest. If only it let you switch back do pistol rather than get two kills with that woeful shite.

Great games tonight. Apologies for the language on Gunmaster, can't stand it although I did enjoy stabbing Halo. I would also like to say - ColSonders I hate you. Stick your knife somewhere the sun don't shine. The end :D

    Re: Wed 12 Dec 9.00pm - BF3 - Close Quarters/Aftermath Rotat

I concur, I had a good night overall.

Bit of an iffy start with the laggy french players, but once they buggered off my lag went with it and when the teams got evened by the system things seemed to be fairly close.

There was a guy who seemed to be incapable of missing with the M98 at pretty much any range.

There was some good Gun Master games.

Not convinced on the TDMCQ on AM maps, they seemed very big for such small numbers, though perhaps with a full 16 players it may not seem as empty, but certainly a welcome change of pace from the CQ maps which are tiny.

But most of all, stabby ****er came out to play and I think I got Plaxinator back for the other week when she made a big deal of taking my tags....re-he-he-venge

Wasn't expecting anyone to still be on when I finally joined, had a good night too. Rapid fire was a twat with the M98 with ACOG but I put it on and can understand why he was doing well :D

Also got a few stabs in one on Ken which I'm still confused about :-\

What's the setup tonight? I should be able to make it unless I fall asleep again ha ha
