Crysis 2 was a freebie on PS Plus a little while ago, so here it is as this week's Pick 'n' Mix game.

Picked it up for free from PS+ but didn't play more than 5 minutes & needed the space for other freebies!

Not a bad night, this game is very CoD-esc but in a good way, I think lots of practice is needed if we decide to make it a regular game. Late on in the night we tried a different game mode after playing team instant action and it seems that being a higher level makes all the difference, it was us below rank 10 against rank 30+, maybe if it is a regular thing we can see how it is once we rank up a little.

Crysis 2 was rather enjoyable.

Apart from the last couple of objective-based game modes which were imbalanced (we had all low-rankers on our team and all high-rankers on the other) it was a fun evening. As JK says, it's plays in a similar way to Col but with a few extra tweaks, like a stealth cloak and shield for all characters. These, along with running, use energy and when your energy meter is empty you have to let it charge for a few seconds before using again, so no-one can permanently use these abilities.

Definitely a game we should play again and I'll also be having a go at single player.

I loved crisis 2. I sold it ages ago as no one else had it. My saved files have also been deleted. Does anyone know if my online rank would have been preserved as I might re buy it if I still had my old rank and weapons.

I think it's an EA game so should be saved server side, if you registered on the my Crysis web page you should be able to see your rank.

Crysis 2 is just £9.98 from Blockbuster or £14.86 from Shopto.

Never bought any DLC (I dont think) was there DLC made and if so was it included in the free PS+ game?

DLC is never included in free PS Plus games, presumably because they hope you buy it.
