BF3 Premium members can get their grubby paws all over the BF4 Beta on 1st October.

There will no doubt be a few of us online to try out the new game, so join us if you can!

This conflicts with GTAV! I'm torn between a rock and a hard place now.

Yeah, I figured this would be an either / or scenario as both are released on the same day. I've also put up a BF4 event for 4th October, which is the general release date for the beta.

Toss a coin?

In all honesty though, don't worry about the GTA5 meet - I'm sure there'll be plenty of others playing. When I logged into Diablo 3 on Wednesday I counted at 15 on my friends' list playing GTA solo!

I'm all geared up for GTAV. I can join the other BF4 jolly a few days later.

I should be able to make it seeing as I've already installed the beta. ;) It all depends on how busy it is and if the BF4 servers can cope with the inevitable heavy load.

Anyone played it yet? It's okay. Pretty much a rejigged BF3 with slightly different controls (which is annoying). Not sure if it's any cop but hopefully it'll grow on me.

I had a quick blast between kiddies going home and the gym. Not impressed with the different control scheme....select should be spot and the heli controls should be the same.

First impressions are that it's more of the same with a slightly weird feeling control system (but I always feel that's the case when a new version of a game comes out....except CoD that has never changed)

I like it so far. The new controls are ok once you get used to them. The comms work, which is good.

Really can't wait to get this on PS4 now though!

Rather enjoyed this tonight!

Takes some getting used to the different controls, particularly spot being on R2. Quite liked the new controls for vehicles but for those who don't you can switch to the old ones (veteran) in the options.
