Another Thursday evening on our BF3 server.

Set-up for this event will be standard maps (including Karkland) which is our usual set-up. We're using the new rotation, which has a few more Conquest maps but still has some Rush and TDM.

As usual, Allies are also welcome to join us.

There's a chance that I'll be back later from my appointment in London. Trying to arrange for something during the day rather than early evening. Fingers crossed.

That'll be my plan. Having tested the game tonight already, it's not unreasonable to be unavailable on the other test evening.

I just couldn't play anymore, lost sound numerous times and had a 2K-15D at one point. I'm not about K/D but when the game is unplayable its not enjoyable.

I don't believe Ace leaving was what made it clear up. When Ace left we saw a major change over of players. Had some great games. Thanks to Roger also for popping by. Had some laughs with folks from the UKO clan. Really must find out who they were. KillerKrackz was one of them and a rather jovial chap.

One thing to note, having a Rush map after Metro conquest has an effect similar to farting in a lift.

I had great fun, spent most of the night spawning off Col who always seemed to be in the right place at the right time

Well played everyone, @ Martok sorry I couldn't switch teams when you asked me to on Grand Bazaar - the option was greyed out. Considering the lag and balancing problems everyone worked well to overcome the odds and have an enjoyable night.

You can only switch teams if you're dead unless an admin does it. Although at that point the admin is more likely to suicide and swap themselves rather than another player.

I've just torn through the maps where the lag was apparent. Logical breakdown and I bet it was the person from Turkey causing the issues as they weren't about when it cleared up when others were still in the game.
