2014 is here and it's another year of games to look forward to. For many it'll be PS4 games that will be of interest but let's not forget that the PS3 is still here and going strong.

OPM has published lists for what they think are the best games for PS3 and PS4 in the coming year:

The best PS4 games of 2014
  1. Infamous: Second Son (ETA 21 March)
  2. Child Of Light (ETA 2014)
  3. The Division (ETA Winter)
  4. Watch Dogs (ETA Spring)
  5. Wolfenstein The New Order (ETA 2014)
  6. The Elder Scrolls Online (ETA 2014)
  7. Destiny (ETA Spring)
  8. The Evil Within (ETA 2014)
  9. Driveclub (ETA 2014)
  10. Middle-earth Shadow Of Mordor (ETA 2014)
  11. Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes (ETA 20 March)
  12. The Witness (ETA Spring)
  13. The Order: 1886 (ETA 2014)

The 10 best PS3 games of 2014
  1. Dark Souls 2 (ETA March)
  2. Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 (ETA 14 February)
  3. Castlevania: Lords Of Shadow 2 (ETA 27 February)
  4. Child Of Light (ETA 2014)
  5. Destiny (ETA Spring)
  6. The Evil Within (ETA 2014)
  7. Middle-earth Shadow Of Mordor (ETA 2014)
  8. Watch Dogs (ETA Spring)
  9. Wolfenstein The New Order (ETA 2014)
  10. Metal Gear Solid 5: Ground Zeroes (ETA 20 March)

Some of the games I expected to see on the list (like Watch Dogs, The Order: 1886). Some games I'd not even heard of. Some games I didn't realise were appearing on both platforms.

So, what do you think of OPM's choices? Which games do you think will be the best? Which titles are you most looking forward to in 2014?

Dont think I will get a PS4 anytime soon going by that list. Think it could be a cheap year for gaming this year.

I'm interested in Dark Souls 2 but given I haven't actually finished Demon's or the first iteration, I'm tempted to agree with @mick and try to pay some cards off this year!

Destiny is the one that most appeals to me so far, but then I am not sure I know much about most of the other titles on the list. With a restricted budget for games this coming year it may well be about the only one I do buy. I may pick up some ps3 titles cheap to be going on with.

I will hopefully be getting a ps4, when watchdogs comes out. I also like the look of the division. I thought the crew was coming out this year along with another unchartered around June. I cant see myself buying anymore ps 3 games.

I haven't got anything in particular that I'm looking out for gaming wise. I think @Jenxy_ is quite keen on Destiny so she could bend my arm a bit to get that.
Watch Dogs, Thief and The Order 1886 maybe.

I am looking forward to The Order:1886 and Watchdogs. I probably won't be able to enjoy them til well late into the year, when I get my PS4.
Also a dark horse, which seems to escape peoples radar is Mad Max. Seen some trailers for that and it actually looks rather good.

As Plax mentioned I am really looking forward to Destiny, I love a good Co-Op game. Just disappointed that it isn't coming out until this September, another nine months for the only game I am looking forward to in 2014, seems like a very long time and yes @JessUK98 I will certainly be doing some arm bending for you to pick it up :D

Currently there's nothing else I'm actually planning on picking up, I'm hoping that Plus games will keep me entertained and I'm planning to sink quite a bit of time into Killzone.

Although once we see a bit more of the releases above, I may well change my mind and get one or two of those games as well :)

The Division, Destiny, Diablo 3: Ultimate Evil Edition, Elder Scrolls Online and the updated Final Fantasy 14 which looked disappointing on a PS3 but is marvellous on PC :)

That's what I'll be spending my wonger on!
