Ok, as Ace kindly pointed out in my intro I have a "few" trophies for Ben 10, this turns out to be true I do have a few but my nephew is to blame for this :silent:

So how about we all admit/share what shameful games we have trophies for and how we came about playing such shameful games.

I'm hoping to see a long, shameful list of games below this post and if anyone has a platinum, I hope there's a good story behind it :P

I bought a cheap copy of Terminator Salvation from eBay just for the Platinum trophy, It only took me and the boy about 5 hours.

Since I have long since stopped trophy whoring I'll admit to platinums in:

Cars Race-O-Rama, Star Wars the Clone Wars Republic Heroes, Terminator Salvation and Where the Wild Things are :shifty:

Mind you I have also platinumed Uncharted 1 & 2, Bioshock, Battlefield BC2 and other proper games

I played Terminator Salvation for the cheap platinum, but I actually didnt think the game was that bad. OK its not brilliant, but I wasnt bored playing it.

Christ where do I start..... bless me Father for I have sinned.
1/ Buzz Junior - Monsters
2/ Buzz Junior - Robo Jam
3/ Truth Or Lies

The rest is Playstation Plus shit. Honestly, if somethings free I'll insist on getting it, no matter how worthless or dire it is.

* Eye Pet is mysteriously missing from the list because I actually like it!! :o

I would definitely consider myself a trophy whore...you may remember I started the Trophy thread over at OAP.

Looking at my Trophy count so far (972) you wouldn't think it compared to other folks though, my main problem is that I just can't bring myself to play a substandard game just for the Trophies and unless a game pulls me in immediately I tend to just trade it in, so there are a number of games on my list that are below the 5% trophy mark. I also don't have a huge amount of time to play due to working long hours and on shifts, so I really have to only play the AAA titles.

My best achievements are obviously my two platinum's, Uncharted 1 & 2, this is testament to how good these games actually are, I very, very rarely play a game more than once! I do plan to go back and platinum Uncharted 3 once I've done with Skyrim.

My name is Martok and I have a platinum trophy for EyePet. :?

I got this for my daughter when she was younger and she loved it. It got better when they added support for the PS Move and we picked one up. Most of the trophies are fairly straightforward but a few do require a bit more work, such as playing with the pet on consecutive days and passing 20 vet reports. As my daughter lives with her mum and only comes to stay every other weekend, I couldn't let her miss out on achieving a platinum trophy for this so I have played the game during the week to get these achievements.

Anyway, that's really my only 'shameful' platinum trophy.

I couldnt give a hoot about trophies either, dunno what I've got. To be honest I can only remember trying to get all the trophies on Burnout as I was almost close to getting them so thought I might as well go for them. Since then I usually flog a game when I get bored with it, regardless of wether or not I have finished single player or have any trophies.
I cant actually remeber buying any embarrasding games.
I have bouught some crap game such as Call of Juarez:- Cartel, Naughty bear, Homefront ,Shadow of the damned, Socom and Call of Duty, but nothing really embarasing. (unless someone knows otherwise).
Perhaps another idea for a thread.
worst game you ever bought on the playstation!

My most embarrassing trophies are the Call of Duty games, which I swear I only buy because they do amazing deals on launch day where you can effectively be paid to take the game home with you and flog it on ebay...in the interim I will usually stomp through the offline and collect a fair few trophies, I think I may even have a plat for one of the CoD games!

I wouldn't exactly say i'm a trophy whore, but if I get a game and I enjoy it I will specifically go for all the trophies for it, even if it's quite time consuming.

I have every trophy for Borderlands, including every one for DLC, that was time consuming.

Same for me apart from the Moxxi DLC which I didn't get. Never felt like too much of a chore since the game was so much fun.

Eat Lead: Return of Matt Hazard

In fact it was so crap, I got rid of it before getting all the trophies.

All my games are excellent purchases.

Only platiunium is Burnout Paradise, but I have 100% for Daytona USA and Battlefield 1943 as well

Ah, but Eat Lead was supposed to be bad. That was the "joke" the developers were going for.

A game that shouldve been awful was the 50 Cent game. Rappers taking on terrorists, running around with their hankies, sorry sorry "do-rags", on their heads talking gangsta. But the gameplay wasnt bad, and the story was absolutley hilarious, although I dont think that was intentional.

I think I clearly beat you all in the shameful trophies contest. I have recently got the platinum for, wait for it..............
Hannah Montanna the Game. Yes you read that correct. HANNAH MONTANNA!
It took about 4 hours to plat it. I don't think you can stoop much lower than that.

Nope, that's it, no one can beat that.

Seems we have a winner then. Or should I say loser? ;)
