Senior Gamers [SNR] is a community for mature gamers formed in 2012. We started as PlayStation gamers but now we are fully multi-platform with members also playing on PC, Xbox, Switch and other platforms.
We used this website from June 2012 until March 2020. Technology moved on during this time and we have now moved to Discord. If you are familiar with it already you'll know how quick and easy it is to use. If you haven't tried it yet, you really should!
You can browse this archived website to see what we posted over the years.
You can join us on Discord to see what we've posted more recently and to chat. Click on the link below to find us. We hope to see you there!
But @Slaine I'm getting an Xbox One and COD Ghost(whatever the feck the rest of the title is), has nobody bothered to tell you yet?Ive preordered mine from Shopto for £348 (basic model).
Word of warning. Amazon and various other retailers (and Sony) have warned that they may be unable to satisfy demand. So if you're currently pondering on buying one, my suggestion is just pre-order one now.
Anyways, I haven't selected any games yet. I'll probably get BF4, as this is the game most likely to have some long legs on it, and more importantly, be played here by a greater number of people (@Plaxinator has this on PS3, PC and 360!!So I'd be very surprised if she doesn't get BF4 for PS4 even if she gets the PS3 version too). Im definitely getting a PS+ subs too, probably on day of release but may be earlier if any PS3 or Vita titles grab my attention. That way you get 4 games to start your PS4 collection, with more each month to keep you busy.
Trade the baby in. You know it makes sense. It'll save you a few quid on the PS4 and give you enough free time to actually play it.I was gonna walk Into a shop and buy one But It's due the same week as the baby, so not sure what I'm gonna do.
Cheers dude@HERMAN_JELMET congratulations by the way. A bit late I know![]()
Think about the big picture, you don't own the games your renting them forever maybe they will only be £20 new? This is unlikely but would boost sales and stop the oh I can trade problem. I made my decision after watching the MS and Sony briefings MS lost my interest with there TV, TV, TV bollocks. I gave them the benefit of the doubt but the briefing was hopeless and the CEO seems to be a complete moron with no idea about games or gaming.Microsoft say they have some more to reveal and show, but I'm not interested in anything they've got to say now. I've seen all I need to make a decision.
Wasn't a hard one either. I'm a member of an Xbox community and only one of them is considering getting one, and that's not going to be for another year. Microsoft have blown it. Such a shame
