Saw this yesterday, thought it was very interesting. Each trophy has its own points and like gaming experience it gets harder to level up.

-------------------------
Bronze: 15
Silver: 30
Gold: 90
Platinum: 180

Level 1 – 0 pts
Level 2 – 200 pts
Level 3 – 600 pts
Level 4 – 1200 pts
Level 5 – 2400 pts
Level 6 – 4000 pts
Level 7 – 6000 pts
Level 8 – 8000 pts
Level 9 – 10000 pts
Level 10 – 12000 pts
Level 11 – 14000 pts
Level 12 – 16000 pts
Level 13 – 24000 pts
Level 14 – 32000 pts
Level 15 – 40000 pts
Level 16 – 48000 pts
Level 17 – 56000 pts
Level 18 – 64000 pts
Level 19 – 72000 pts
Level 20 – 80000 pts
-------------------------

I'm assuming level 20 is the top level, so only 60,000 to go :D

Lvl 20 is nowhere near the highest. BIELERIC from Spain is Lvl 95 at 99% (827,910 pts ) He has 465 platinum trophies. Some people have too much time.

The slog from level 15 to 16 seemed a lot harder than 14 to 15, yet it says the same. Ive seen some level 27s online, but I havent bumped in to that level 95 yet!!

I'd suggest that's possibly not legit, having that much time on your hands is reserved for an absolute minority of people who don't have a job, a family, friends....basically they have nothing else to do in their lives but play games. How does a jobless bum with no friends and family afford that many games?

The cost of that gaming habbit has cost at least in the region of £25,000, quite likely a lot more.

I think those are shared accounts, multiple people have access to them and contribute.
The highest person on my friends list is a level 37 (with 153 plats). He's legit. I had one that was a high 40s but he account shared, and has just started another account to start over legit and is already a level 16 (and he has an Xbox). I've got 1 level 33, 1 level 30 and 2 level 27s the rest are low 20s and below on my list. All trophy whores of course.
I've been asked to "swap" Platinum trophies with randoms or get certain trophies for them but I've always refused.

It'll take me ages to get to level 14 I think. I felt like I was at level 12 for about a year lol.

Me too. Im only level 16!?!?!? :eh:

As for buying games; Im quite content to wait until the inevitable price reduction, or buy second hand. Whatever works out the cheapest.

I don't know how reliable this site is as none of my high level friends are on it. Also the age of john one is the person that asked if I wanted to platinum share. Duck360 has admitted to sharing his account with family and using game saves for some of his;

I suspect it's more account sharing and intentionally going for a high trophy count as looking at the games this guy has on his list he avoids some of the very best games simply because they are time consuming to platinum.

A couple of them have some dodgy timestamps too which suggests maybe a class of school kids all getting trophies against that one account.

But even with discounts I still reckon it's easily over £25,000 worth of games given the 1500 games that have contributed!

I can honestly say though that every single trophy I have has been legitimately obtained by me.

I'm a humble level 15, and as Slaine elluded to, seem to have been for ages. Playing much less these days with all the travelling on my project work. Still hopefully another platinum on the horizon soon :1thumbup: .

I actually got my first Platinum tonight(Killzone 3), every trophy I have achieved is legit. The main reason why I play games is trophies, if I'm cheating in order to get them then it's pointless.

I get bored trying to finish games. I rarely finish single player before moving on to Multi player. Not bothered how many trophies I have, I do know I only have One platinum, but dont even know what level I am .

Edit, i'm level 14, rather strangely I have EXACTLY 2,000 trophies in total with 2 Platinums for Burnout and Bad co 2.

I'm only Level 13 on one account, and Level 6 on the other. And I haven't broke 10000 gamerpoints yet on Xbox.

I'm a part time bum, yet I have even less time to play games, unless a certain lady friend wants to play Zombie mode.
