you can't really take it off the stand and mount on top of the telly without using a big wedge of the sticky stuff.
I use this tv camera stand and that works well. (I have the v1/square version camera)
I have the old one also and it works ok, the only prob is, that it will tilt a little when set on a flat surface.
Really? Never noticed, but you can twist the camera, right?

Yeah, but if you lay it flat, that tiny cube that is supposed to be a 2,5cm stand on the right side cannot hold up against the rest 16cm camera.
