Multi Payday 2

Payday 2 is out this week and for anyone who doesn't know what this is, it's a co-operative multiplayer game in which players team up to perform heists. Random elements ensure no two playthroughs are the same.

This is the launch trailer they have just released.

It seems to be getting reasonable reviews too.

Payday 2 (with Lootbag DLC) can be picked up for £22.98 from Zavvi, £22.99 from Game and £22.99 from Amazon.

That was a really good trailer. Have looked at #1 many times but never got it.......maybe #2.

I watched a bit of footage of this game on youtube this morning, it looks quite good.

Any idea why the price is so low given the game isn't even out yet? Is it quite a shallow game, like only a handful of heists to do or something?

It's basically a PSN game, It's only about 4gb In total, I've read that there are 30 different heists, and they're all dynamic so no two will be quite the same.

I played It last night and this morning You can see straight away that more money was pumped into It as the graphics are far superior to the first one, The shooting feels a lot meatier too which Is good. So hurry up and get It I want some friends to play with.

Reading a review it seems that it's quite buggy and doesn't really work well as a single player or a badly co-ordinated group.

From the review it seemed that it has it's fair share of bugs and frustration....but...the feeling you get when things go well is sublime and easily makes up for the bugs.

I'm quite intrigued, but likely to just wait until it comes free on PS+ (that's a phrase that I am getting too comfortable with)

No to both of those.

I do quite like the looks of this, unfortunately I can't really budget for it at the moment. As I say though, no doubt it'll get a release on PS+ at some point and it's only a few more months now before I get no choice about PS+ and have to subscribe.

Ok just payday 1 is currently free me Herman and Spujite had a couple of hours on it and it is very enjoyable

Yeah, not getting PS+ until the PS4 comes out, or a couple of games come out at the same time to make starting PS+ early worth it.

I'm sure I could pick up the first Payday cheaper than a months subs.
