I know I just read this on PS3trophies.org too. Im guessing with the MGS Online now switched off all the trophies are going to be offline too, which is even better news as I hate grinding for trophies.

I knew not trading in would pay off (not that I ever would)

Want to hear something spooky? I felt compelled the other day to reinstall MGS4 on to my HDD again. I wasnt going to play it, I just wanted it installed all ready. It was an overwhelming urge too, and I really had to do it. How weird is that?!?!?

The main difference is that it includes a making of, it was more a case of having the original Japanese cut more than anything!

Roll on 29th August then. Thats the official MGS day in Japan, when Hideo Kojima is expected to talk about MGS. It makes sense that the patch could be released on or before this date.

Read on twitter something about a full install so you install all chapter data rather then at the end of each chapter installing the next one. This may be on the new MGS4 that's supposedly being released or an update.

Yup just read that too. Basically no more installing chapter by chapter as theres the option to install the whole disc. 34 trophies apparently, and its been confirmed now by Eurogamer that Blighty will get the patch too next month.

Unfortunately this is only for the new 'best of' release...which will likely be Japanese only. Current copies will only be getting the trophy patch.

Apparently theSixthaxis reckons the patch is going to be forthcoming next month. Damn it!! I thought it was going to be August. Oh well, we've waited this long.

In case your wondering why theres not 34 trophies as announced, 14 trophies are hidden and presumed story related.

Unsurprisingly you cant use any previous game data, so all your lovely unlocks will have to be forfeited. Looking forward to playing this again.
