Hi from The 55's

Hi all. I'm mark, a member of a 5 year old clan called The 55's.
I got your site from a post by a member of the soon to be gone Hope clan which we a good few clan battles against.
I'm currently the captain of our UK based squad and am looking for other clans to play some friendly games of cod against hopefully on a regular basis.
We are a great bunch of people from all walks of life aged between 17 - the late forties and are looking for other similar clans to form alliances with.
Our squad practice on monday nights and would be looking at start times of around 10pm.
Games would mainly be on Black Ops 2 and preferably involve domination, demolition and hardpoint. If you have any favourites then we can also use them.
Rules will be anything goes like public lobbies.

Hi Mark, welcome to SNR.

We don't really have any regular CoD gamers here, though i'm sure a few here actually own it, most FPS fans here seem to be more into Battlefield.

That could well change with the next generation, but currently you're more likely to get a game on BF3, Defiance or GT5 with us.

Welcome to Senior Gamers, mark.

I saw your post the other day over on HoPE. It is a real shame that the community is closing.

As Col says, we have a small number who play CoD but it's not really a game that has taken off here in SNR. Our main game was BF3 and we still play this from time-to-time. At the moment a bunch of us are also playing Defiance which, despite it's problems, is rather good. As also mentioned, GT5 has a regular following here too.

I'm sure we'd be up for a friendly against the 55s on something.

In the meantime, do have a look around our forums and feel free to join in. I'll endeavour to pop over to your place sometime to say hello.

It's nice with all the dickheads online to bump into some normal people once in a while.
We also liase with a clan Old & Rubbish which have a bf3 following in their ranks so could get some of them along for the ride too.

Quite a few of us have got this, but of course its all dependent on what day and what time as to if we can all get together. We can easily field a team of 5, let us know if theres any more to join us..

Actually that should work out pretty well for us. Thursdays, by a bizarre coincidence, are traditionally our BF3 night anyway.

What does everyone else reckon? I'll post up an event to see how many people we can get going now.

Ive set up a provisional event for 8PM on 13/06/13 if thats ok Mark. I know you said you like your 10PM starts, but theres a lot of us that start early at work etc, and you know how long BF3 can drag on!! I'll let you know the sort of numbers we'll get and we'll take it from there. Let us know if theres any change in the plan.

One of our members rented one but never got any users on it.
