Without a doubt, the game I am looking forward too the most.

This is the beauty Ive ordered from Shopto.net. £65 worth of sexiness. So come 06/11/12 my presence around here may be a little lax, and my PS3 may have a thick layer of dust on it. Looking forward to Spartan Ops the most (apart from the main campaign of course ;) )

Anyone else getting it? Shopto have always sent me my orders early so heres hoping. Feel free to bung me an invite if you see me online!! :1thumbup: :woot:

Been playing this all day. Best shooter Ive played. I love Spartan Ops, which is the replacement mode for Firefight. Ive already done all this weeks episode 1 on Legendary. But its the cut scenes and graphics. Best cut scenes Ive seen outside a Final Fantasy game. They just look awesome, and its hard to tell if film footage has been mixed in (it hasnt). They look that good. The graphics are amazing, and its credit to 343 for still getting a wow out of a machine thats what 7 years old now. The campaign missions are huge (with the exception of the first one), and take a long while to do. I've always loved Halo multiplayer, and this game is no exception. Youve got the huge leap in graphical output, coupled with the usual Halo gameplay. Its all there, Forge, Theatre mode, Slayer etc.

I may not be around for a while guys, unless anyone fancies some Halo 4 :1thumbup:

I got the Ltd Edition and there was no season pass. I had 5 redemption codes (3x avatar crap, 1x Forward Unto Dawn film, 1x Ltd Edition bonus content). Definitely wasnt an online pass.

D1 is single player and D2 is multiplayer, I think anyway that's the way with not having a Blu Ray drive.

The first disc is the campaign. The 2nd disc contains all the multiplayer elements, which is a compulsory install at about 3.5GB. After the install you can pack the 2nd disc away as its never needed after that.

Saw you online with it earlier. I had to turn it off as :-
a) we've got guests who dont like Halo and were bored
b) the wifes ill and I was supposed to be looking after here
c) I'm supposed to be looking after my little girl too, as no playschool today

I pushed my luck as much as I could, but I got kicked off in the end. If you're around tomorrow daytime fancy some Halo? If for no other reason than this......

Not sure if Im up to the 140 hours yet, but I'll definitely get the 300 points by the end of November, especially with 5 new Spartan Ops missions released each week for 10 weeks. And all for free too  :o Makes a change for Microsoft to give away something for nothing.

What's the single player campaign like Slaine? I might get a loan of an Xbox360 from a mate, or my nephew, and rent Halo4 out just for the single player campaign.

Definitely the best yet. Only 8 levels, but each level lasts nearly an hour (apart from the first one which is about half an hour). Some of the best cut scenes you will ever see. Im currently doing it on Legendary, which is pretty tough going.

Personally, its online where the most fun is to be had. Dont get me wrong, the campaign is fantastic and has a real epic feel to it, but Halo has always been about the multiplayer. Youve got campaign co-op, Spartan Ops (mini levels played cooperatively online - better than Firefight by miles), and of course War Games which is what the multiplayer has been renamed at.

Ive been playing this to death, slowly levelling up and playing on Legendary. Im planning on doing a level a day on Legendary, and going up a level on multiplayer (Im currently SR32 - its goes up to 50 then you unlock Specialisations. Havent seen anyone online yet who has, and the highest rank Ive played with was SR45).

If you catch me online dont be afraid to bung me an invite to your game. :1thumbup:

When my son starts to get a bit sick of it, i'll nab it . Mind you he is still playing when I set off for work at 3.30 am so I could be in for a long wait.
