Crimson Map Pack is out on 10th December, while Majestic Map Pack follows on 25th February. Castle Map Pack, finally, is due 1st April.

Not long to wait then for the first lot!!! :woot:

    Found a bit more info....

Exploring new worlds and wonders, all three Map Packs provide classic “Halo” combat and exciting ways to experience the new feature-set of “Halo” Infinity Multiplayer. Descriptions and tentative release dates are as follows:

Crimson Map Pack (December release timeframe)

    Maps: Wreckage, Harvest, Shatter

Description: Witness the chaos of a clash of civilizations in Wreckage, with its blend of claustrophobic spaces and dangerous exposures and venture into the human colony environs of Harvest, and explore a human foray on an alien moon in Shatter.

Majestic Map Pack (February release timeframe)

    Maps: Landfall, Monolith, Skyline

Description: Landfall’s emphasis is on infantry battles against a glittering ocean on a distant world, while Monolith exposes you to the naked vacuum of space – and the firepower of opposing teams, and Skyline’s distinctly industrial feel provides new challenges in somewhat familiar, but occasionally confined spaces.

Castle Map Pack (April release timeframe)

    Maps: Daybreak, Outcast, Perdition

Description: Daybreak is set in a military facility against the backdrop of an idyllic mountain range, while Outcast plunges you into the warrens, canyons and arches of an alien edifice, and Perdition takes players into the heart of an urban sprawl, with tactical speed and situational awareness its key features.

To be totally honest I don't like Halo much, I did originally but I think a stint away and it's turned poo. Had an hour yesterday and although I was doing well I just kept thinking how much it was still like the original. Graphic wise its good, but the gameplay just hasn't changed. I hear you saying why change something that's great, I agree, but coming in from what feels like the outside I felt as if I had to pogo around and kill cams showed me getting hit in the head when getting shot in the chest :-\

I will still play now and again, just won't be getting any dlc.

I hope this doesn't come across as me flaming the game its good but not leaps and bounds. I also feel this way with CoD.

    Horses for courses mate. ;)

343 Industries tried damn hard to ensure it felt like Halo, which it does. Theyve introduced a few new enemies, and Spartan Ops is just the dogs, but they havent reinvented the wheel. This was never their goal.

Makes me laugh when you see people pogoing around trying to avoid getting shot. The tactic doesnt work, unless your being sniped from afar, and even then it wont take someone long to re-adjust & get you.

Shame you havent taken to it, because I was hoping one night we'd all have a Halo night. I fancy making some custom levels with custom games for a laugh.

I love halo but currently can't justify buying the DLC yet.

I also have Anniversary, Halo 3 and Reach too. Non DLC though.

I'm up for an evening on my eggbox, been on it more then my PS3 lately.

I have too. I seem to go through phases where I cant leave either one of them alone for a while. I never seem to alternate between the pair of them regularly. Whats that about eh!?!?
