PS4 H1Z1

Hi guys, I'm guessing everyone's heard of H1Z1 now, Sony's answer to dayz. Who'll be jumping into this one when it's released?
Personally I can't wait, I'm enjoying the daily grind of Destiny, but looking at the size of H1Z1 and the crafting needed & all the grinding that will need doing, oh my god I may never buy another game again.

On the side, does anyone watch walking dead?

I think a few of us are interested in this game when it's released. There's a thread about it here and a few videos in the gallery.

I watch The Walking Dead and I think a few others do too. No spoilers for the current season though, I've not seen any episodes yet!

Yep, looking forward to it. Have played rust a bit which I enjoy but the big drawback is; once you log out you're open to being raided. So unless you have a danm fine fortress (which makes you more of a target) you end up starting ftom scratch each time. Also no zombies, just radiated animals.

Really enjoy the walking dead. Season 5 is good so far. All I will say about it is - bbq

Well DayZ Standalone is miles behind this game and H1Z1 hasn't been in development that long, what I have seen from streams this game is just like DayZ just with hunting and base building plus a lot of survival extras water collecting apparatus which is a wooden box lined with a plastic sheet. Depending on weather conditions will increase the amount of water produced so raining will make it fast but sunny will make condensation on the sheet making a small amount. They are looking at power generation too windmills solar panels etc but these are just early ideas which have not been implemented in any of the current builds.

One thing I hate about these games is it can take you a day to get looted up to actually start surviving and lose it to one guy hiding in a tree.

Still that said i will be playing H1Z1 and I do occasionally play DayZ on my PC

This is what puts me off. In fact this is what puts me off online gaming. Theres just too many dickheads waiting to spoil your fun. Its one of the reasons I dont play COD anymore, as it seems rife over there

I once got stalked on dayz by 4 guys, they watched me loot for a good fee hours and then they pounced, I lost everything and got killed. Not an ideal situation but the Base building aspect should help with looting etc

Just flicked through the official PC site, really liking the idea regarding zombie animals as well. The boar illustration video does look slightly comical though

No idea, they kept getting accused of hacking etc and I think Jack got invited to a lot of events which frankie didn't or didn't go to.

Maybe either one of them were the YouTubers who got paid for reviews etc

I'm just guessing here though.
