Before I go ahead and organise anything I would like to get people's thoughts on the following.

A NASCAR endurance race that would last approximately 1hr, I know that sounds a lot but when we have done the 30 lap NASCAR races in the past the time does fly by. (an hr would be more than 30 laps though)

Then to fill the rest of the night with a mini shuffle race championship, was thinking to have a wide shuffle ratio based on the previous race result to even things out a bit.

I've not played GT5 since we had the last Sat night event so I've had a bit of a break and looking forward to a bit of arse rubbing fnarr fnarr

Sounds like a top idea to me. :1thumbup:

I've never tried an endurance race before so this would be a learning curve, especially when coming to pitstops for fuel & tyres. Some hints and tips might be useful!

Anyway, I'm up for it and like the idea of the mini shuffle championship afterwards. :D

I like shuffle races, don't think I would manage an enduro race, but i usually retire after 9.30 so i would miss it anyway. How about a few shuffle races before the main event?

Why retire after 9.30pm? It'll be on a Saturday, you don't have work the next day. I'm sure you could manage a 1 hour endurance race if you don't drink too much cheap booze first. ;)

I've been off this week but still been getting up before 5 am and falling asleep around 9pm. I'll try to get a kip in the afternoon and just drink coffee.
BTW not sure if i'm still laggging since my switch over. Only noticed it once in a Battlefield room , didnt lock up like it used to, so I might be OK.

You ran a speed and ping test at night when you constantly got lag?
