Mobile Far Cry 3 'Outpost' companion app hits iOS/Android

Free smartphone app 'decodes encrypted data', tracks challenges, stats and more


Ubisoft has released a free Far Cry 3 companion app via the iOS and Android app stores.

According to Ubi, the 'Far Cry 3 Outpost' app lets players "decode the encrypted data found during game sessions to earn advanced weapon mods and customize Loadouts.
"Far Cry Outpost also allows players to track their progress through the daily and weekly challenges, check out their stats and compare with their friends, and keep track of the maps created via the in game map editor."

My android phone is too old to run this. I'm seeing if the latest update in my firmware will allow me to get it but having looked at the ratings for the app it dosent actually seem to work.

My current sony Xperia is quite good but the PC companion software is shite. Gonna try again tomorrow.

You can decode on the move and view your daily/weekly challenges. It's ok but not the great

Since the update you can now play a mini game the grid that gives you unlocks. Side note can everyone post there uplay usernames here so I can try and add you thanks
