Im crap at this intro melarky so here goes,

Hi im Gaz from sunny(ish) Nottingham ,37 and have been gaming since the days of the old bina tone console.
Dogstar nudged me in the direction of this site so here i am . i work weird hours so my gaming is a bit erractic ( nearly as much as my spelling).

ive played plasyation online since the heady days of socom 1 on the ps2 and am a member if not active of the OAP's under the name of my ps2 id of Detritus.

im reading this back to myself and this is making no sense what so ever , better get my 7 year old to re do it

I think there is definitely too much blood in the alcohol stream

You're not wrong there, and is pretty much the reason that there exists a need for communities like ours. I like MAG, certainly got better with age (and upteen patches )

Just to make you aware that the OAPs will make you a Chum if you come over here. Or you could go for our equivalent Ally status and keep your full OAP membership.

Nice to have a fellow 360 owner over here. Its predominantly PS3 all the way, but a few of us dabble on the 360.

Anyway, nice meeting you and hope to see you in a game soon.

Alright Fisting Dan,

I still have MAG but not played It for a while, It annoyed me that they would implement a vote to kick system that was so open to abuse, People were voting out squad leaders and such for no other reason than to get It themselves, Greedy Bastards.

Anyhoo, BF3 seems to be the game of choice at the moment with some KZ3, UC3 and maybe some Burnout Paradise thrown In at some point.

I have nothing else to add so I'll just stand here, Don't feel you have to talk to me though.

Hey Gaz,

Glad to see you made your way over here We went through a few months of playing MAG regularly but then something shiny happened and we got out the habit. Need to play MAG some more. As has been commented, if you haven't played it since all the patches the game plays completely differently.

Anyway, it's a vouch from me (otherwise I wouldn't have recommended you come over here!) Although, as Slaine said I think just let us know you want this as the other house will chumify you.

I remember you as Detritus over on OAP! Not seen you in a very long time though.

What's the origin of Fistantilus? Googling seems to show World of Warcraft references. Do explain this and why you chose this rather than going for Detritus again on the PS3.

As has already been explained, becoming a Senior Citizen (full member) will get you Chummed over on OAP. If full membership is really what you want then please confirm again and then do have a word over there to let them know. Otherwise you could go for the Allies option here instead.

It'd be good to game with you again though I don't have MAG or MW3. Do you have any other games that you play? I'm currently on Uncharted 3, Killzone 3 and Battlefield 3 though I do have a bunch of other online games too. Let us know what else you have so we can sort something out.

oops forgot ,Martok got the name from the dragonlance books, Not sure if you played everquest on the ps2 but i couldnt fit the full name in (fistandantilus) so i shortened it to fit in the char naming box , im not detritus on ps3 because by the time i got one some goit had nicked it.

Its amazing how often that happens. The most obscure and nonsensical names you can think of, and some git always gets there first!!

I remember pre-registering my PSN id before the PS3 even came out, which pretty much gave you a free run at the name of your choice (almost anyway).

Ive added a bunch of people today and I forgot to add you. Ever so sorry. My PSN id is Torquemada, just to confuse you. As soon as Sony allow you to change your name, then its back to Slaine or a derivation of it (Slaine-, xSlainex, etc), whatever I can get away with.
