PS4 Destiny VoG or Raids I Dunno?

I'm free tonight and was hoping to get some new armour or guns on Destiny. Is anyone free from around 8 or 9pm to midnight to play a mission which will get my level 21 Hunter some new gear? I'm pretty much lost in the grind factor of this game, so maybe someone could help me get what I'm doing.

I'm assuming now the light of the armour ranks me up, and that's around all I need to know. So is anyone free?

A few of us are doing Vault of Glass around 8 but if there are more than 6 of us turning up I don't mind dropping out and wreaking Destiny havoc with you. I need to do a load of strikes which will be useful for you as well as you'll get vanguard marks and rep so you can buy better purple (legendary) gear with more light. You might get some decent blue swag drop on the strikes as well.

Wow thanks @Jousting , @Skarpar and @hoodedclaw was fun last night get around 10 new rare armour and 6 new rare guns, plus my legendary armour . Moved from just in level 21 to just in level 23 and also opened the vault of glass. All around a awesome night will try and get on tonight but don't think it will be possible.
