Multi Battlefield 3 Double XP Weekend

There is a Double XP weekend coming on Battlefield 3. Double XP starts at 10:00 (BST) on Saturday 10th August and finishes 48 hours later.

Lol - no, but I didn't realise you got gold tags either.

You get extra tags that are more meaningful for stuff like mastering a weapon (500 kills with each weapon) and i've given up on those too.

As i'm no longer unlocking anything useful I actually prefer to be a lower rank as it annoys the rank 100 generals when I repeatedly kill them.
