Ett fantastiskt inlägg som jag sätter stort pris på! Alltid skönt med lite dialekt :)

Did you know that conditions in the British Navy were so poor, that people were pressed into service? A gang would leave from Portsmouth or Southampton and search for able bodied men. This was where the expression press ganged came from. Because so many were forced into service, they usually had to cast their nets wider, and a huge contingent of West Country folk were generally sourced. As I said, condions in the navy were so appalling that there were a hell of a lot of mutinies, and pretty much all pirates were ex service men. And guess what regional dialect most pirates had?

So @HERMAN_JELMET video was more indicative of how pirates spoke rather than @IamNumber6 original post, believe it or not!!:D
