Hi there, thought I'd do a little intro to possibly become an ally to your kind selves. My name's Ben, 36 years old and been a member of the Grumpy Old Men clan for nearly 2 years playing on Bad Company 2 which I loved and now BF3.

I started off with a Speccy, then the Amiga, PS1, then played a little on PC until I bought a ps3 2 years ago. Fave games are too many to mention, a few that come to mind are Elite, Atic Atac and the old MOH and MW games.

I’m friends with ABG1981 (knife whore!) so I’ve played with and against a few of your members in the past and have had some good games on your server, nice to have a mix of games including Rush and Scavenger aswell as Conquest.

A lot of the GOMs prefer hardcore on BF3 and pretty much play conquest all the time which I don’t mind but would be nice to play some normal core with some normal people!

Not half as bad as what this lot normally say about ABigGirl.

It'd be cool to try and catch a game with you on a server that isn't lag ridden though, that one was particularly bad and my machine crashed twice during the game so i ended up on a different server.

Yeah, I've experienced a fair bit of lag lately especially since I went with Virgin. It seems the better your connection the worse off you are. Feel free to add me for BF3. I try to get on a couple of evenings in the week.
